Domestic Exchange Information – International Students Welcome!

What does Newcastle offer that differ from my Aussie uni? Even if some subjects sound similar to those on offer at your home university, each university offers a different perspective and a different teaching style. You will find out about local industries that impact on the environment, diverse plant and marine life, local climate phenomenon and topical political events while learning generic knowledge and skills. Your knowledge will complement your final years at your home university.

A domestic exchange provides you with a chance to experience a different city for a whole semester. Experience the subtle cultural differences – and the not-so-subtle climate differences. Meet new people and live new experiences. Above all, you will have fun!

Have a look at some suggested subjects from the huge range of subjects available. Check on the campus locations and make sure that you can meet any pre-requisite requirements. If your home university has stated core units, you may find equivalent units listed that have been approved by your academic contact.
